Whew... TGIF

It's been a lame week.
LAME!
I did manage to score some more pics from the wedding though. I'm only going to put the ones I like in though, as there are a whole bunch. Obviously, there are going to be more of myself! LOL

Here's ME! I think I was talking to someone and saw that my picture was being taken. Oh well.... Cheese!

Now, I'm the first to admit that my husband is a little wacky. These pics are just further proof.

God, I love these chicks! There was a vent underneath them, and it was SO hot in the tent that they needed to get some air! Poor girls had 4 or more layers on! Yuck!

This is a pic of the Best Man's Toast. I don't have a pic of the Maid of Honors toast, so this will have to do.

Alright, I think that is enough of the Wedding stuff!
RANDOM LINK FRIDAY!!!
This website is dedicated to the BEST TASTING JELL-O SHOTS! They went above and beyond to test every type of Jell-o with All sorts of different kinds of Liquor. I actually made the Mojito Jell-o shot for my friends costume party tomorrow night. I can't wait to try one tonight to see how it turned out!!! I hope it's good, otherwise I just wasted a bunch of rum and Lime Jell-o! :)
Well, folks..... I guess I'm all talked out for this Friday. See y'all on Monday!

Wedding Pics

Okay! I have some wedding pics. They were taken by Candace and her Husband, so you are going to see a lot of her in these. I'm waiting for pics from other people. It was a beautiful wedding. They had the ceremony and the reception at Danielle's parents home.

This is Joe walking the "aisle" with his parents.
Here is a couple of Danielle and her son walking.
Danielle and Joe light the Unity Candle.

They finish their vows. She was balling by this time. So was I! :)

The Wedding Party. She had 7 Brides Maids and a Maid of Honor. He had 7 Groomsmen and a Best Man. HUGE wedding!

This is at the reception. Me and my buddy Candace. LOVE HER!

I love this pic. From Left to right: Candace, Me, Danielle, Natalie, and Kari.

It was a really good wedding. Like I said before, the wedding party all hopped into a limo toward the end of the night and drove to Hurricane Bay. It was a bunch of drunken fun!

VACATION

13 DAYS!

That is all.....

October 20, 2008

Monday.... again.... bleh....

Good morning.

It's Monday.

I hate Monday.

I especially hate Mondays when I've spent all day Sunday hung over and immobile.

The Wedding on Saturday was really great. I cried. Then I got stupid drunk and danced my little ass off. There was a bunch of people I know there so that made it even better. I hate it when you go to a wedding and you know no one. This time was great. Even Jamie had a good time. He very rarely has a good time at functions like a wedding. No pictures, though, as we forgot the camera! I always forget the camera, but Jamie is usually the one remembering it for me. He forgot this time as well. Oh well!

Anyway, the wedding was beautiful and the reception was way fun. Once the toasts were over everything went pretty quickly. We ate, and then they cut the cake and did the first dances and stuff. Jamie danced with me a lot, so I was very happy. He likes to think he's not a dancer, but he's actually better then your average white dude. After a while we all ended up going to hurricane. Jamie and I made a pit stop for some nooky on the way there, so we were the last ones to arrive. Then I did something dumb. I did a shot! By the time we got home I was so ready to puke, and ended up doing so like 3 times. It was nasty. I was still VERY hungover the next day, so I'm really glad that I threw up. I would have been is WAY worse shape yesterday if I hadn't. Okay, so enough puke talk.

I did NOTHING all day Sunday. I laid on the couch and caught up on all of the shows I recorded. No I have a pile of laundry still waiting for me and dirty toilets. Oh well, guess I know what I'm doing tonight. :) BLAH!

That was my weekend. This coming weekend we have the Halloween party. Not too sure if that's still going to happen though, as the dude who's throwing the party got fired from his job yesterday. :( No Moolah = No Party! I suppose we will have to see though.

Jamie sent me this email yesterday with really old games in it. When you open the attachment, they all open in Excel. I had NO IDEA you could do that with an Excel Spreadsheet. It's totally awesome. They have Sonic, PacMan, Tetris, a Golf Game and a game called Bloody Penguin. In that game you hit the penguin with a club to see how far you can get him to fly. When you hit him with the club he gets cut in half and his bloody head flies! I got as far as 677 ft. With I thought was pretty impressive. :) It's fun stuff.

2 WEEKS UNTIL I'M IN VEGAS!!!! Well, actually, 2 weeks and a day. I'm super duper excited! It's going to be great. I just wish I could not pay bills this month, and take all that money to Vegas with me. *SIGH* I know... pipe dreams.... :) That would be really great though.

So I'm re-reading a series book. Twilight by Stephenie Meyer is the first in the series. The movie comes out on November 21st. I'm pretty excited for that too. I wish it was Harry Potter that we were going to see on that day, but I'm okay with seeing this movie first. I had forgotten how much I like these books. They are even better the second time around, cause I already know where all of the slow parts are so I can skim. I like to re-read the book before I see the movie so that I can complain (loudly, and often) about what they missed, or what they changed completely. I don't understand why they change things around when they make a movie out of a book. The book was good enough to make a movie out of, so why change it? The changes almost always make the movie horrible. I get that you have to adapt the book for the movie screen, but I don't think it;s necessary to change or add stuff. I hate that! Yet, I still refuse to NOT go see it. If I've read it, I HAVE TO SEE IT. I know. I'm weird. Lindy is the total opposite. She doesn't like to see the movies, or shows that are adapted from books. Turns out that she wants to see Twilight with me, so I'm happy! I'm glad she changed her mind. I hope they don't ruin it for us though. I already know that the climax had been changed in the movie, from the trailer I saw. They expanded what really happened. I'm not sure I care about that too much though. We shall see how it works out.

Alright, I'm off to lunch.

Have a GREAT MONDAY. BLEH!

HOOOOORRRRAAAAYYYYY FRIDAY

I'm so glad its Friday. It's been a long week. This weekend should be pretty cool. I'm going to my friends wedding on Saturday, and then NOTHING! I really like doing nothing on my weekends. I think that's what weekends are made for. I also think we should have a 2 day work week, and a 5 day weekend but i don't think I'm the only one who feels that way.

So here's the random link for this Friday. I really really like this website. Some of the items are really funny, and some are just cute, but all are great!

http://icanhascheezburger.com/

So, I'm going to be really busy for the next 4 weekends! This is pretty rare for me, because as I mentioned earlier, I really like doing nothing on my weekends. This weekend is the Wedding. Next weekend is Wayne's Halloween Party. The weekend after that is Halloween, and then on the 4th weekend I will be in LAS VEGAS! I reiterate the need and excitement I have for my trip (please see last blog)!!! I'M READY!!!! Wow, I just had a Spongebob flash. Ewe. I love Spongebob, but I don't like to think abut him at 8:30 AM. Or anytime I'm not watching him on TV.

Work has been really slow. It makes me lazy. Yesterday, I had a crazy person on the phone. It was entertaining for a minute, and then I was over it. I hate it when work is slow. It makes my day soooooo much longer then it really needs to be. I will probably have to create some stuff to do so that I don't go crazy waiting for 5:00 PM to come. Yea for Cold Calling! BLEH!

So I'm ready for the election to be over and done with. I know who I'm going to Vote for and I'm just ready to do it. I'm really tired of seeing all of these attack ads on the TV, too. I think that every other commercial is something negative about someone. I hate that. I also just heard his clip from the Howard Stern Show this morning about Barack Obama. Sterns guy was interviewing people in Harlem about there preference for Obama or McCain. All 3 of them said they were Obama supporters. So the interviewer asked them some questions on why they support Obama, then he replaced Obama policies with McCain's. NONE of them knew the difference! They had no clue what Obama or McCain's policies were. This makes me sad. If you are going to vote, I really think you should know what you are voting for! Make an informed decision people! I know it's confusing, but there are ways to find out what each candidate is for and the policies they are supposedly going to implement!

I just heard the phrase Rosta Nipples! ROSTA NIPPLES!!! What a neat phrase!!!

Anyway, enough about the politics.

I really have no idea what I'm going to wear to this wedding this weekend. Ah, such a dilemma! I have 2 dresses I'm trying to choose from. I really want to wear the more formal one, but my husband will look very under dressed if I do. So I think I'm going with the less formal one. It's pretty cute. I haven't worn in for about 3 years, so I'm hoping it will still fit! It's supposed to be really nice this weekend, so it will be perfect.

I'm listening to the radio right now and they are discussing sex in the workplace. I can't believe the amount of people who have had sex while they were supposed to be working! I've never even thought about doing that anywhere near work! Maybe I'm just boring, but I just don't think that would be very sexy at all. I suppose that it would all depend on the situation though. Plus, I've been married for 4 years, so I'm sure I've gotten a little safe, too!

Well, I hope you enjoy the link, and my rambling. Off to work I force myself to go!

-See ya, wouldn't want to be ya! (just kidding:)

Come on Vacation

The countdown begins! I may even put a countdown gadget on my site!

Leaving for VEGAS in........

I really can't wait to go. (I love that phrase "Can't Wait", well guess what... YOU GOTTA WAIT!)

We got a SMOKIN deal at the Gold Coast for when we go. $53/night!!! FABULOUS!!!! It's not on the strip, but it is across from The Palms. I haven't ever been to the Palms, so it's going to be DOUBLE COOL. Our hotel looks pretty nice too. They even have a bowling alley!
Check it out!
http://www.goldcoastcasino.com/

I like the players card they have too. It's a tiered card. $1.00 in play = 1 Point. You earn 20,000 points (or spend $20,000) in 90 DAYS then you graduate from the RUBY CARD to the SAPPHIRE card! With the SAPPHIRE card you get 2 points for every $1.00 played. Then if you earn 125,000 (or spend $125,000) w/in 90 DAYS you graduate to the EMERALD CARD! This card gives you 3 points for every $1.00 played!!!! What a STEAL!

I'm sure that most of the players cards are rated exactly like this one, but i don't think they spell it out like that for you. It just kinda blew me away that they want you to spend approx $125,000 in 90 days to get rewards for their hotels and shows! That's more than I make in a year! Guess I won't be getting any comps from any hotels any time soon! Comps are for RICH people! We are so backwards in this country.

I'm really just looking forward to WONDERFUL BUFFET FOOD! I LOVE Vegas Buffets. I think that's the only way to eat while you are there. Buffets are what MADE Vegas. Aside from mobsters, that is. My mom used to tell me stories of the $3.00 all-you-can-eat buffet. Old Vegas used to be all about the cheap buffet, never mind the occasional mob hit! But Still!! Gone are those good old days for a steak and lobster buffet for $5.00. Probably gone are the days of everyone getting food poisoning also, though! I think I can pay $20 for a food poisoning-free buffet and still get my monies worth! I didn't get to go to a buffet the last time I went to Vegas. My BF Lindy and I went together and we didn't want to spend the money on the buffet so we were CONSTANTLY LOOKING FOR FOOD. That was a horrible food weekend!!! We stayed somewhere where they only had one cafe, and we ended up waiting for like 20 MINUTES to get seated when both of us could see that there were EMPTY tables! So we decided to look for food elsewhere, and wandered around this other hotel and tried to eat there, but everything was WAY expensive! So we ended up eating a crappy pretzel in broken massage chairs, that were probably very unclean, in the middle of some passageway out of the hotel we were at. That was the worst food experience I have ever had in Vegas and I'll have to blame it all on not eating at the buffet! We didn't really have a choice that time as funds were very limited, but i don't think I'll ever do that again! Buffet all the way, baby!!!

I'm really really really ready for this vacation. Life is getting me down lately. I sound like a hippie when I say that, but it doesn't make it any less true. I'm FOR SURE ready for this Vegas trip! I'm ready to drink and smoke too much... oh wait, I already do that! So, i guess I'm ready to smoke ANYWHERE I WANT and not 20 ft. from the any entrance way with people looking at me like I have leprosy. I'm ready to drink ANYWHERE I WANT, even on the street! I'm ready to do some gambling and have my ass handed to me in the process. I'm ready to sleep in an uncomfy hotel bed and out the DO NOT DISTURB sign on the door! I'm ready for VEGAS!!
Unfortunately, I have about 3 weeks until we go.... so being ready now does me no good. :) I do have 3 weekend full of stuff to do though, so hopefully that will make the time go by fast.

Great weather for Vegas! It's too soon to see what the actual forecast will be for when we go, but it seems like the average highes are in the lower 70's and the average lows are in the upper 40's. Record highs are in the upper 80's and record lows are in the upper 20's. I'm hoping the record highs will be more prevalent while we are there. I'm a wuss when it comes to cold. I'm an ARIZONAN! We get cold when it's 65 degrees out and cloudy! So I'm hoping it will be unseasonably warm that week.

To drive or to fly... that is the question! We can drive, but we have no idea what gas will cost at that time. I'm crossing my fingers that it will be quite a bit cheaper when we go, but we can fly for a guaranteed $286. That also means that we may have to pay for checked luggage, and then the taxi from the airport to the hotel, plus the parking fees at the airport. I'm pretty sure we are going to just drive because it's going to end up being cheaper in the long run. I really love to fly there though. It's just so nice to get there in 45 minutes. It's also really nice to get back in 45 minutes! The drive home is really the worst part of the trip. It always seems to take forever! *SIGH* I really like to pay for convenience, but this time it would take away from my gambling money. I'm pretty sure we are just going to drive.

So I'm sure you are going to hear a lot about my upcoming vacation in the next few weeks. I'll try to tone it down so you don;t get too jealous. LOL!

-SO READY TO GO ON VACATION!

October 13, 2008

Bleh, Monday!

Wow, it was a busy Columbus Day! I'm just now getting time to update!

This weekend was a pretty good one. Went out on Friday with Jamie and Lindy to our neighborhood bar/club. Had a pretty good time, with exception of all of the douche bags that go there. Saturday night I didn't have to drive, so I got pretty snookered! We went to Dave and Busters for a friend's b-day party. They have this drink there called Walk the Plank. OMG SO GOOD and also SO DANGEROUS! It's got Captain Morgan Spiced Rum, Orange Juice, Pineapple Juice, a splash of pomegranate syrup and Bacardi 151 on top. Very very tasty, and very very strong. I had 3 of those babies and had a really good buzz going on. By the time I got home, I was pretty drunk, and 4 Walk the Plank's deep. Like, drunk enough to take a tequila shot all by myself, drunk! :) I highly recommend a Dave & Busters Walk the plank. Just maybe only one! Anyway, so I had the shot and I made myself a Captain and Dr. Pepper and we went to sit out in front of the neighbors house. They had a fire going and were all sitting and chatting. It was pretty fun!!! They have a really nice iron stove thing, that is portable. I ended up being very drunk on Saturday and VERY hungover on Sunday. So I sat on the couch and caught up on shows that I have recorded. DVR IS THE BEST INVENTION EVER!

I hope everyone else's weekend was pleasant. I am going to my good friends wedding this Saturday, so I will be sure to have pictures of that to put up. I'm pretty excited about it. I just can't decide on what to wear..... Oh well, perhaps I'll save that debate for tomorrow's update.

-Make Love Not War, man.
