I feel like it's been years since my last post!



Where to begin?



Here I suppose:



Christmas was good. Carley got way more then she can ever play with, and there are still unopened toys in her closet. She got the MP3 Player that she was hoping for. Good ol' Saint Nick came through with that one! Jamie got some dude stuff that included a couple of Wii games. I have to recommend Resident Evil for the Wii. It's 2 player! We only played once, but it was really fun. Maybe I will challenge Jamie to a game tonight....
I GOT MY CAMERA! I was so totally stoked! I would have killed Jamie if he hadn't gotten it for me! As it is, he came through. That is the first time I have ever gotten what I actually asked for, for Christmas! It was awesome! I got a few other things, but the camera was the best. I have used it so many times since I got it and it's only January. All the pics are on my myspace page, but I'm sure I will post some on here sometime.

New Years was great! We had a little "get together" that actually turned out to be a full blown party! It was so much fun! Lots of booze, lots of dancin, lots of fire, and lots of fun! The kissing at midnight was rad as well. I went around the party and kissed almost everyone! I'm such a dirty little whore! LOL... Relax..... it was just little kisses. *muah!*



A good friend, Jay, came in for Christmas to visit his family, and he got to hang out with us pretty much the whole time he was home. We took him out on the 7th for a farewell drunk night, and ended up having a BLAST! I even got him to dance with me! He danced me out after that though. Might have had something to do with the amount of booze consumed, but I'm just guessing there. :) They have a Sexy Lifeguard contest at the bar we go to and Jamie got Jay to enter in that. It was SO funny!!! I was really hoping he would win, but alas, a big buff guy stole the show. Said big buff guy then proceeded to pick me up and turn me upside down on the dance floor. Fun. Let me tell ya. I hope that he had as much fun as we did. I feel like we at least sent him home with some unforgettable memories. :)



So, that brings us to present day. I know I didn't get all of the break in there, but I'm sure you don't want every little detail either. If you do, too bad for you.



THE CARDINALS ARE IN THE PLAYOFFS!!!! 1st time in the Cards history! I am so excited for the game Sunday! It's going to be great. Even more great when we win!

Why does McDonald's feel the need to tell me how GREAT their food is on their packaging? I have been eating there for most of my life. I know what McDonald's tastes like. I know it's NOT great. It's fast fucking food. I don't need words to fancy up my lunch. Just give me the damn burger and be done with it!



I was thinking about buses the other day. I don't think that I've ever seen a bus turn left. They are always in the right lane so that they can pick people up. I've seem them turn right. I have not seen a bus turn left. Do you think they design the routes so that they don't have to turn left, or is it just that I have not been lucky enough to catch a bus turning left? Just a small something to ponder. I could probably look it up on Wikipedia, but I don't care that much. It's just something I was thinking about. (Spell check does not know the word Wikipedia, lol)



THIS WEEKEND



Cool stuff happening this weekend! No idea what we are doing tonight. Probably nothing. Saturday we have a surprise party for our friend Wayne. After that the girls and I are going to hit the bar. Sunday is the BIG GAME as I mentioned earlier. Even better? My boss is letting me come in at noon! KICK ASS! It's going to be pretty cool. I may have some great pics to post here next week. I know you can't wait! LOL!

Merry Christmas!

I only work for 2 hours tomorrow!! I'm so super excited about that! It's going to be the best Christmas Eve EVER! Well.... the only thing that would be better is if I didn't have to work at all. :) It's ok though. 2 hours is a pretty good deal. Then I have a 4 day weekend, like most of the people I know. It's going to be a pretty good weekend, I think. Tonight we are going to let Carley open one present. Tomorrow night we are going to have a Ham for dinner and then open all of our presents. Christmas morning will be Santa gifts and stockings at our house and then it's off to my Brother-In-Law's house to open presents there. Christamas afternoon Carley goes to her Dad's house to open gifts and then on Friday we are going to open gifts at my grandma's house and then go to dinner. Should be a great weekend for Carley, that's for sure!
So here is some Christmas cheer for all of you. I'm still not totally feeling the spirit, but as it gets closer I'm getting better.

My 40th Post!!!

Our Reindeer have been hung!!! Janice & Wayne (my next door neighbors) made these to hang accross our houses.The men finally put them up today! They look awesome! Santa is on his way baby!

GRUMPY!

I had an old man moment this morning. I was smoking my first cigarette of the morning and looking at all the pretty clouds that were out, and I noticed there were about 15 birds on my roof.

Now, normally this wouldn't really bother me, but this morning it really did. I tried to "shoo! shoo!" them away and they just sat there and looked at me. So I got a big stick and shouted "GET OFF MY ROOF!!!" and brandished my stick at them. They all flew off and then I smiled satisfactorily. Then I thought to myself.... OMG! I just totally had a "HEY KID!! GET OFF MY LAWN!!!!" moment! This was not a revelation I really needed at 6:30 in the morning!!! *sigh* So I guess as I "mature" I'm getting more annoyed at the little things I never used to care about. Now I understand why old people are such assholes! :)

Anyway.....

So last time I updated I promised you all pictures of the ash pile in my backyard. I have delivered!

Weekend fun!

Hey all,
I finally got our Christmas tree up. It's a small one this year. :( I was worried that the dog was going to try to eat it so we got a small one and put it up on an old coffee table. He hasn't shown any interest in it at all! It's good to know we will be safe for next year though. We just have to see what happens with the presents! Here's a picture of the tree. I did the lights, Carley did the bottom ornaments, and I did the top and Jamie put the Angel on. He was Bah hum bug that night.



We went to Zoo Lights on Saturday. Here's a picture of a particularly pretty tree. I love all the little lighted animals that they put up all over the place.

I had no idea that so many people go to Zoo lights! We got there around 7:00 PM and there was a pretty long line to get in, and there was NO PLACE TO PARK! We had to park in BFE! We walked through for about an hour and came out to the longest line to get out of a place! We had to wait 15 minutes in line just to LEAVE! Then as we are walking out we see the line to get in is all the way down to the parking lot. It was probably a 25 ft line to get in the place! I guarantee that the people at the end wouldn't have been let in b/c it would have been closing time by the time they got up there! It was amazing. So, all in all I think I will probably not go back to Zoo Lights for a long time. There were just too many people.


Sunday Jamie decided to have a fire in our new "fire pit" in the backyard. It's not really a fire pit yet. It's pretty much just a stump that we designated a fire pit. :)
Here's Carley helping Jamie clean up the branches from the tree he cut down. She's says, "Mom, take a picture of how strong I am!" You can see the little fire pit in the background to the right. It was pretty much that small all day. Just wait though... we apparently don't do small fires at my house!

Here's the dog, freezing his little ass off before the fire got big. He had a long day of trying to hump the other dog that came over, Buster, and chasing kids around. He looks so small!

Here's what the fire looked like after all the kids left. I think that was the tallest it got for the night, but it was pretty big.

Here it is died down some.... very little really...

It was a pretty fire and then we all got tired and put it out. I'll take a pic of the ashes tonight and post it tomorrow. They are quite impressive.

Carley decided to play the "I'm sick" card yesterday, so I brought her into the office with me.

LOL! For anyone who's not up to date on 8 yr old spelling, that says dirt is disgusting. I'm not sure why she decided to make the sign say that, but what the hell.... It's still up there now. I should probably change it before a customer comes in but.... Fuck it!

So Christmas is in 8 days. I feel very unprepared but ready for it to be over with. It seems to me that almost everyone I know is not into Christmas at all this year. Sucks! Oh well.... New Year's here I come!

Hello, Happy Tuesday everyone!
So the concert was lame and we ended up leaving early. We got some pretty good pictures while we were there though.

So that was out Friday night. Saturday and Sunday we both pretty calm for me. Sunday I watched Lindy's kids while she was at the Cardinals Game. It was pretty uneventful.

Tonight I think we are going to get a Christmas tree. I just want to get that done and over with. I like the decorating part. I also would like to get some presents wrapped and under the tree.

Well.... back to work. Tons of stuff to do for once!
