Got a new phone today, IT TOTALLY ROCKS! My old phone was a POS!!! This one is awesome. It takes video and regular pictures and you can do all sorts of things with them. Totally awesome. It's the LG Scoop and I think I'm in love! :) I had to blog about it. Sorry.

LOL! Cause I'm scatterbrained!
I just realized, as I was looking back through my posts, that I never updated all of you (3) fabulous people from my 11/20 post. Girls night out, Twilight, Rest and relaxation.... BLAH!
Girls night out was fun. Big Nix sucked an egg though. It was supposed to be $1.00 U-Call-Its from 9 to 11 PM, but it wasn't actually U-Call-its!!! It was only for well booze, and beer and shots weren't included. HOW HOW HOW can you call it a U-CALL-IT special, if' it's not U-CALL-IT?!?!?!? I was pretty pissed about this, until I asked the bartender if he could do a shot special for us and I got 12 Kamikaze shots for $12.00!!! That's right... who's the fabulous bitch? ME! Yeah, and I had 3 drinks also on the special, but my bill was only $13. You figure out the math on that one. So while the bar sucked eggs, the bar TAB did not. From there we scooted over to Hurricane and my tab there was only $28! It was a pretty cheap night for me, and I had a pretty good time.
Ah... Twilight.... I think this movie had ruined me ever seeing another book-based movie, with the exception of Harry Potter. This was the worst train wreck of horrible acting I have ever seen! It was puke worthy. Lindy wanted to leave in the middle, but I forced us to stay. I had to see if it was going to get better. It DID NOT. I don't even think I can write anymore on the subject because it was just THAT bad!
Saturday was a bunko on the gift finding. Tuesday Morning is where we went and it's like a claustrophobic Big Lots in there. Horrible again. I did find a few things for Carley and got my grandma done, so it wasn't a total bust.
I still have lots of shopping to do, so I will update you on my finds as I go. I know that you all care very deeply about the toys and deals I find. :) Lindy, Jamie and I are going to try to get it all done on Saturday. Hopefully, we will be done. I am very much looking forward to the wrapping party Lindy and I are going to have. Beer and wrapping! A perfect combo!
Tomorrow night I am going to Phooson. It's going to be pretty cool. I'm really only looking forward to 2 bands that are going to be there, but I think it will be fun anyway. I'm bring $40 to spend on beer. Beers are an atrocious $8 a piece! Retarded. I'll have lots of pictures to bore you all with on Monday though! Yeay! Happy weekend to you all!

Lindy, Jamie, myself, Adia, Landon, and Carley met up at Chuck E. Cheeses last night. The convo was good, but the food gave me an upset stomach! It tasted good while I was eating it, but I paid for it later. This was just about the best thing to come out of that place in a long time:

Wow.... 23 days left!
Whew! I'm glad Thanksgiving is over. It went really well. The only thing that really went wrong is that my turkey was done 3 hours early! It said on the package that a 20 lb bird took 6 to 7 hours to cook and we stuffed it, so I needed to add an extra hour... so 7 to 8 hours. I wanted to eat at 3 so I put the birdy in at 6:30 that morning and it was done by noon! It's my luck that it's done early instead of the normal late turkey. Oh well though, it tasted great and we had tons of food that is still sitting in my fridge. :) Leftovers seem to hang out for awhile in my house.
Oh well.... It was a good day, and I hope all of you had a great one also.
It was a pretty good weekend over all. Lots of friends and family and drinking and fun. Now, we look forward to Christmas! I'm sort of Bah Humbug this year. I feel like I just want to get the present buying out of the way and get this holiday over with! I did have fun decorating this year, and I should be happy because I get to have my husband home for Christmas, but I feel annoyed. Not that he's home, just annoyed at Christmas altogether. I guess that's a part of getting older and realizing that it's a very commercial holiday. My kid fascination with it is now completely gone. I hate to think how I would feel if I didn't have a daughter! I think she's the only thing compelling me to try to enjoy the holiday. She's getting harder and harder to shop for though, so now I have to put actual thought into it all. maybe it's just my laziness coming out. :) That's probably it!
I'm going to attempt to get all my shopping done this weekend. I don't have that much to buy, but it feels like a daunting task. I only have Carley and Lindy's kids and my Sister in law left to do, but I feel like I gotta get it DONE! Then there are my co-workers. Do I or don't I? I think I'll just do the old fall back. Christmas cards with Scratcher in them. The perfect gift for the someone you don't really know all that well!
So, I hope you all are enjoying the holiday season more then I am. I hope that my bah hum bugginess goes away soon. I usually really like this holiday. :) Ho ho ho!
